Solar panels in Rojales, surveyed and arranged for you
We have installed in Rojales and our customers there wrote about it. José looks at the roof and the materials first, Joëlle arranges the permits, and the system is sized to your house.

What two Rojales customers wrote
Both reviews name Rojales themselves. We use them because they describe the process, not only the result.
Ten panels, looked at properly beforehand
Ten panels on a home in Rojales. José checked the number of panels and the materials in advance, Joëlle did the groundwork on the permit applications, and the customers were just as happy with the aftercare.
“In the run-up, José looked at everything carefully, both the number of panels and the materials. Joëlle did the groundwork on applying for the permits.”
Marcel v., Rojales, Google review, translated from Dutch Support before and after
An installation in Rojales where the customer remembers the support on either side of installation day as much as the day itself.
“Joëlle supported us perfectly, both before and after the installation.”

Rojales and Ciudad Quesada
Villas, pools and urbanisations
Rojales includes Ciudad Quesada and its urbanisations, with many detached villas, townhouses and homes with a pool. A pool pump running through the day suits solar well, because the panels power it while they produce.
Before sizing anything we look at your bills and when you use power. Roof type matters for the design and the price: a tiled roof needs hooks under the tiles, a flat roof a frame at the right angle. If the house is in an urbanisation with rules on what may be visible, or the roof is shared, we check that first.
As an estimate, a well-placed system on this coast produces roughly 1,250 to 1,550 kWh per kWp per year, east or west-facing roofs at the low end and south-facing roofs at the high end (EU PVGIS data). What your roof does depends on its angle, shade and how you use power, which is why we look first and put figures on paper after.
Neighbouring Algorfa is a separate municipality; we have installed there too, see our Costa Blanca page. For costs in general, read how much solar panels cost in Spain.

Which roof
Your own roof, a shared roof or an outbuilding
Detached roof
- Ownership
- Yours.
- Usability
- Usually the best option.
- Connection
- Short route to your meter.
- Structural check
- Tiles or flat roof, fixings, condition.
Shared urbanisation roof
- Ownership
- Shared; the community has to agree.
- Usability
- Depends on space and agreement.
- Connection
- Which meter, and whose, has to be settled.
- Structural check
- As for your own roof, plus what the community allows.
Outbuilding
- Ownership
- Yours, if it is on your plot.
- Usability
- Useful if the house roof is shaded or small.
- Connection
- Depends on the distance to the house.
- Structural check
- Whether the building can carry the panels.
The survey shows which option fits, and sometimes that is a combination.

More questions
Answers come from our own frequently asked questions, written by the Sunrise Energy team.
Do you install in Rojales and Ciudad Quesada?
Yes. Customers in Rojales have written about their installations, and Ciudad Quesada is part of the same municipality. Send us the address and we arrange a visit.
How do you size a system for a villa with a pool pump?
From your bills and from when the pump runs. If the pump can run in daylight hours, the panels power it directly. We size to what you use, with room to add panels later if your use grows.
Which permits and registrations may apply in Rojales?
Usually a building permit or a declaration to the town hall, legalisation of the installation, registration for exporting power and often a change of energy contract. Joëlle arranges them. See which documents you need.
Can a roof shared by an urbanisation be used?
Only with the community’s agreement, and it has to be clear whose meter the panels feed. We can visit and explain the options for the community to decide.
How are quotes different for tiled and flat roofs?
The mounting is different: hooks under the tiles on a pitched roof, a frame at an angle on a flat roof. That changes the materials and the work, so we quote for the roof you have after seeing it.
Is there an IBI discount for solar panels in Rojales?
Yes. When we checked the ordinance in September 2026, Rojales gave 50 % off the IBI for five tax years for homes with solar panels for self-consumption that supply at least a fifth of the energy, provided the request is made within three months of the installation. Ordinances change, so we check the current text for your address and make the request for you. The other towns are compared in our guide to municipal IBI solar tax reductions.

Have your Rojales roof looked at
A survey first, then a proposal in writing. Any figure before that is an estimate, not a promise.
