Do you think solar panels are useful for me?
For many homes, solar panels on the roof are a sound long-term investment. Depending on the municipality, property and personal circumstances, financial or tax benefits may also be available, such as an IBI property tax reduction or an IRPF income tax deduction.
How long does it take to get my investment back?
Whether solar panels pay off for you depends on your roof, your consumption and your electricity price; your quote includes an estimate for your home. Once the system is running, it can start lowering your energy bill.
Are batteries interesting for me?
A home battery can be worthwhile for using a larger share of the solar energy you generate yourself. Whether a battery makes sense financially and technically depends on your energy consumption, the solar installation and your usage pattern. We look at this for each situation and advise which solution suits you best.
Are there grants available?
Depending on the municipality, property and personal circumstances, financial or tax benefits may be available when installing solar panels. These may include an IBI property tax reduction or an IRPF income tax deduction, provided that the applicable requirements are met. Available schemes and their conditions vary by municipality and may change over time. Sunrise Energy Solutions is happy to inform customers about the options that may be relevant to their specific situation. We apply for the IBI reduction for you; we do not handle the IRPF deduction.
Can I strike a balance in Spain?
No, netting is only known here in the form of monthly settlement with the energy purchased and supplied back to the grid.
Depending on the energy supplier and the chosen contract, the compensation for energy fed back into the grid is currently usually between €0.03 and €0.06 per kWh. These rates may change. We can advise customers on a suitable energy tariff and on how to make the best use of the solar energy they generate themselves.
A deposit is requested, why is this?
Once you have accepted the quote, we ask for a down payment of 50%. This allows us to reserve the materials and start preparing the project.
Which documents do you need from me as a customer to make the installation possible?
At all times we need:
Copy of the DNI/NIE/TIE/Residencia
Copy of the electricity bill on which the CUPS number (is the registration number of the electricity connection) is stated.
Copy of the IBI statement (real estate tax) with the Ref. CATASTRAL, We need this for the legalization of the solar system.
For the preparation, installation and legalisation we need a number of documents and details. Certain tax benefits or local schemes may require additional documents.
