Who we are

What we collect
When you request a quote, we receive what you fill in: your first name and surname, email address, phone number, postcode and town, the company name if you ask as a business, and any comments you add. We also note which page you sent the form from and in which language.
To stop the form being misused, we keep a scrambled code derived from your IP address for one hour. It cannot be turned back into the address, and it is deleted after that hour.
The website sets no cookies for visitors and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. That is why there is no cookie banner.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to prepare your quotation and to contact you about it. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (article 6(1)(b) of the General Data Protection Regulation). We do not use these details for newsletters or advertising.
Who receives your details
- 2Solar, the customer management system in which we handle quotes and projects. Your name, email address, phone number, town and comments are sent there.
- Vercel Inc., which hosts the website. The site runs in Vercel's data centre in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Neon Inc., which hosts the database in which your request is stored, in Frankfurt, Germany.
- Resend Inc., which sends the emails from the website: the confirmation to you and the copy of your request to us.
These companies process your details on our behalf and only for this purpose. We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
Transfers outside the European Union
Your details are stored in the European Union, except the emails sent through Resend, which may be processed in the United States. Vercel, Neon and Resend are companies based in the United States, so their staff may have access from there in exceptional cases, for example for support. Such access is covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
If you do not become a customer, we keep your request for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can follow up on the quotation, and then delete it. If you do become a customer, we keep what is needed for the contract, the warranty and our tax obligations for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details, to restrict how we use them, to object, or to receive them in a portable format. Send your request to info@sunriseenergy.es; we answer within one month and pass deletions on to 2Solar.
If you think we handle your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (www.aepd.es).
Security
The website only works over an encrypted connection, the database is only reachable for our own systems and staff sign in to the administration with a personal account. No method is completely safe, but we limit what we keep and who can reach it.
Children
This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect details from anyone under 16.
Changes
If the way we handle data changes, we update this page and the date at the top.
