Solar company in Spain
One solar company from the first visit to long after the install
Buying solar in a country whose language and paperwork you do not know well is mostly a question of who you can call. With us that is the same small team, from the survey to the day something needs looking at.
Who does what
A family-run company, so you always know who to ask
Sunrise Energy is a family business based in the Camp d’Elx, working across the Costa Blanca and Murcia.
The survey, by the installer
José visits the property, checks the roof, the shade and where the inverter can go. The person who looks at your roof is the person who knows how it will be installed.
The paperwork, by one person
Joëlle prepares the town hall paperwork and the self-consumption registration, keeps you informed and tells you what your electricity retailer needs from you.
The explanation, before the install
You get a proposal in writing after the survey, with what we will install and why. Questions in English, Spanish or Dutch are answered in that language.
“Very satisfied, pleasant staff, but above all good information from José and Joëlle.”
Piet S., Catral, Google review, translated from Dutch Aftercare, by the same team
If something needs looking at after the installation, you contact the same people who put it in. For panel cleaning we work with a trusted partner.
What we install
Panels, batteries, chargers and carports
We install solar panels on homes and businesses, home batteries, chargers for electric cars and solar carports. Everything we offer is on our services, and how an installation goes from survey to switch-on is on solar panel installation.
As an estimate, a well-placed system on this coast produces roughly 1,250 to 1,550 kWh per kWp per year (EU PVGIS data). What a given roof does depends on its angle, shade and when the power is used, which is why we look first and put figures on paper after.

More questions
Answers come from our own frequently asked questions, written by the Sunrise Energy team.
Which areas do you cover?
The Costa Blanca and Murcia, from our base in the Camp d’Elx. The towns we visit most are on solar panels on the Costa Blanca. Not sure about yours? Send us your postcode.
Do you speak English?
Yes. We advise in English, Spanish and Dutch, and the paperwork is explained in the language you prefer.
Can you install while I am not in Spain?
Often, yes. The survey needs access to the roof and the meter; after that, much of the paperwork can be done remotely. Tell us when you are there and we plan around it.
What does a quote cost?
Asking for a quote is free and without obligation. We visit, look at the roof and your bills, and send a proposal in writing.

The same small team, from start to finish
Survey first, proposal after. Any figure before that is an estimate, not a promise.
